Signage Media Players
HEALTHCARE | HOSPITALITY | CORPORATE | EDUCATION | RETAIL
Our signage media players are the engine behind every screen we deploy. Built on Android 11 and managed from the Sparsa CMS, they run scheduled content reliably for 20 hours a day across retail stores, hospitals, hotels, campuses and corporate offices. The range covers two families: the Sparsa Signage Player, which drives a screen from scratch, and the Sparsa Hybrid Signage Player, which inserts L-band advertisements over a live feed without interrupting it.

Features & Benefits
L-Band Ad Insertion with the Hybrid Signage Player
The Hybrid Signage Player sits between an existing source and the screen. A TV channel, CCTV feed, live event or departure board keeps playing while your advertisement appears in the L-band strip.
Healthcare
Drive OPD boards, token displays and patient education screens, with scheduled on/off so wards stay quiet overnight.
Hospitality
Run menu boards, buffet displays and lobby screens. The Hybrid Signage Player adds hotel promotions over live TV channels in public areas.
Retail Stores
Push offers and new arrivals across every store from one console, with local storage so screens keep playing if the connection drops.
Corporate
Power internal communication walls, reception screens and meeting room displays across multiple offices.
Education
Deliver campus announcements and interactive learning content, with 10-point touch support for classroom and library kiosks.
Transport & Public Spaces
Overlay advertising on departure boards and live feeds in terminals and transit hubs using the Hybrid Signage Player.
What is a signage media player?
A signage media player is a small computer that connects to a display and plays your scheduled content — video, images, web pages or interactive interfaces. It stores content locally and syncs with a content management system, so the screen keeps playing even if the network drops.
What is the difference between the Signage Player and the Hybrid Signage Player?
The Signage Player is the content source — you plug it into a screen that has nothing else driving it. The Hybrid Signage Player sits between an existing source and the screen, letting a live feed pass through while your advertisements appear in the L-band strip alongside it.
How much RAM and storage do I need?
2GB/16GB handles looped video and image playlists. 4GB/32GB suits multi-zone layouts, touch interfaces and web-based content. 8GB/64GB is for sites with large offline libraries or unreliable connectivity, where content has to live on the device.
Does the L-band advertisement interrupt the live feed?
No. The main content scales down to make room and continues playing. The strip opens and closes on schedule while the source runs uninterrupted.
Can the players work offline?
Yes. Content is stored on the device and plays from local storage. The network connection is used to push new content, sync schedules and report playback — not to run the screen.
Can we get a custom build?
Yes. Custom boot animations, custom launchers, pre-loaded apps and other firmware changes are built by our Android framework team in India. Memory configurations outside the standard four are available to order.
Does the player include the CMS?
The players are designed for the Sparsa CMS, which works on a SaaS model with plans ranging from self-managed to fully managed. It can be purchased with the hardware or separately.
What support do you provide after installation?
Technical desk support 16 hours a day, 365 days a year, with a 4-hour callback on missed calls and an on-ground visit turnaround of 24 to 72 hours across our 300+ city service coverage.
